Description
Connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the Hiep Phuoc port, the D3 connector road is a part of the highway network that connects various outlying regions surrounding Ho Chi Minh City. The total length of the D3 connector is about 2.4 km (1.6 miles) and includes two new bridges, the Rach Rop II (300 m / 900 feet) and the Moung Lon II (273 m / 810 feet) bridges.

PENESEAL PRO, a spray-on liquid sealer that seals hairline cracks and protects concrete against water penetration, was applied to over 6,000 m2 (64,600 square feet) of bridge deck to ensure a waterproof surface that is also uniquely resistant to thermal stress.
