On January 3, 2023, Penetron announced the appointment of Lawson Sanford as Account Manager for the West Coast market, where Penetron continues to grow its market share. This new appointment will further strengthen the Penetron Technical and Customer Support team in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Based in San Diego, California, Lawson Sanford is responsible for Penetron customers across Southern California, Southern Nevada, and the state of Arizona. With sales and technical support experience in the construction industry, Lawson is familiar with the needs of ready-mix concrete suppliers, architects, and contractors – providing clients expertise in construction project management, concrete mixes, and construction processes.
“Lawson is a welcome addition to our West Coast team, a region of continued growth for Penetron,” adds Christopher Chen, Director of The Penetron Group and head of all North America activities. “His familiarity with the ready-mix industry and the construction community will further our expansion in the region and provide our customers with on-site technical support.”
With a Bachelors of Science in Management (and a minor in geology) from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA), and studies in Economics at the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile, Lawson has held sales and technical support positions at CarbonCure Technologies, a concrete technology company that manufactures carbon dioxide removal technologies, and Vulcan Materials Company, the nation's largest producer of construction aggregates—primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel – both of which are located in California. He is also certified by the American Concrete Institute as a Field Grade 1 Concrete Testing Technician.
