Description
The Aria on the Bay condominiums overlook Biscayne Bay and Miami. At a height of 535 feet (163 m), the project is not only one of the tallest residential buildings, but also sets new standards in luxury and contemporary design for in the Miami region. The 52-story tower offers 650 luxury apartments and 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of commercial space in the lower floors, including office, retail, and restaurant space at the ground level.
Products Used
The challenge of the high groundwater level at the construction site was compounded by the chloride ions in the seawater, a major cause of concrete deterioration. The ready-mix supplier, treated all concrete used for the elevator pits with PENETRON ADMIX to ensure a durable below-grade concrete structure.
