Description
With a population of nearly 1,570 people, the historical rural sandstone community of Cannelton urgently needed wastewater infrastructure improvements – including the replacement of approximately 6,000 feet of damaged sewer piping, a new lift station, and a new wastewater treatment facility.
Products Used
Commonwealth Engineers, the project engineers, required a concrete waterproofing solution for the mat foundation, pedestals, walls, tank, and beams of the new 0.5 MGD wastewater treatment plant. PENETRON ADMIX SB was added to 1,200 yds3 of concrete by Mulzer Crushed Stone, the ready-mix concrete supplier, to ensure a durable solution.
