Description
The construction of the 10 towers of District 8, a high-rise complex comprised six residential towers, three office towers (including the Treasury Tower, the 2nd tallest building in Indonesia), a hotel tower (Langham Hotel), and the District 8 Marketplace, a shopping mall with 150 stores on four floors. The construction site in Jakarta, is adjacent to the Java Sea and subject to frequent flooding.
Products Used
Penetron Indonesia worked together with Holcim, the ready-mix supplier, to provide an optimal concrete mix. PENETRON ADMIX was added to 14,000 m3 of concrete. PENEBAR SW-55 waterstop strips (3,500 m/11,550-feet) were applied for all foundation slabs, retaining walls and basement structures.
