Description
In the second phase of construction, the silos for the Duke Energy Dry Fly Ash Conversion plant were built using slip form paving. Each silo is 45 feet in diameter and 125 feet tall.
Products Used
2,756 cubic yards of PENETRON ADMIX SB was added to the concrete at batching. Once inside the concrete, PENETRON ADMIX SB reduces permeability by permanently self-healing microcracks, pores and capillaries.
