Description
With a watershed area of about 122,700 square miles (317,800 km2), the Haihe (Hai) River is regarded as the “mother river” of Tianjin. Open to navigation 1,800 years ago, it is spanned by the Haihe River Bridge, which is 868 m (2,864 feet) long and 40 m (130 feet) wide. The three-span continuous beam design employs intermediate shaped concrete piers as foundations.
Products Used
A range of PENETRON crystalline products were used to waterproof and permanently seal the exposed concrete piers and deck of the bridge.
