Description
Located in Barro Preto, the center of Belo Horizonte, this new hub for cultural events and tourism houses the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra (in a 1,400-seat acoustic hall) and the city’s Radio Inconfidência and Rede Minas de Televisão. The architecturally striking complex needed a waterproofing solution for the high water table and tropical climate of the construction site.
Products Used
Around 1,000 m3 of concrete were treated with PENETRON ADMIX for all underground concrete perimeter walls and a retaining wall. Also, PENEBAR SW-55 was applied for the construction joints.
