Leningrad Atomic Power Plant II

Description

The new atomic power station located some 70 kilometers (43 miles) to the west of Saint Petersburg’s city center is under construction and will substitute the old Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant. The plant consists of four RBMK-1000 nuclear reactors. Two VVER-1200 nuclear reactors are under construction at Power Plant II and will replace the current RBMK reactors when they reach the end of their service lives.


Products Used

The PENETRON System has been used to repair the old Nuclear facility and the one under construction. PENETRON ADMIX was used at a waste packaging storage module, technical water reservoir, basements of other secondary buildings and the bomb shelters hydro insulation. The whole range of the PENETRON System was used at the construction of the new Nuclear Power Station II.
