Description
The extension and upgrade of the Lombard Street sewage network in St. Charles, Missouri, included the installation of a lift station, force main, new sewage pipes, and watermain.
Products Used
The general contractor, Gershenson Construction, proposed a crystalline waterproofing and antimicrobial treatment, rather than a topical coating, to protect the concrete from the aggressive environment of the wet well. As a result, PENETRON ADMIX, a crystalline waterproofing admixture, and Penetron’s anti-microbial admixture were specified to treat the foundation slab, walls, and top slab of the wet well for permanent waterproofing protection and resistance to microbially-induced corrosion (MIC).
