Description
The newly completed Marysville water treatment plant treats an average flow of approximately 2.2 million gallons per day (MGD). The treatment process consists of lime and soda ash softening followed by conventional filtration. The water (to be treated) is sourced from both city-owned wells and the city reservoir.
Products Used
After the self-adhering membrane solution in the original project specifications was replaced in favor of a crystalline solution, PENETRON ADMIX SB was chosen over competitive admixtures. Thanks to a concentrated dosage rate, PENETRON ADMIX SB also provided the most cost-effective crystalline waterproofing solution. Ohio Ready Mix poured approximately 7,000 yds3 of PENETRON ADMIX SB-treated concrete, which is NSF-approved for potable water applications.
