Description
One of the most at-risk areas in the USA for catastrophic flooding, Sacramento's Natomas Basin has undergone a series of comprehensive improvements to the system of levees throughout the greater Sacramento area. The $3 million project, completed by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 2021, included 24 miles of levee repairs and upgrades.

Penetron, collaborating with Matthews Ready-Mix, carried out tests and submitted the results to the ACE; specification of PENETRON ADMIX SB by the US Army Corps of Engineers resulted in 2,000 yds3 of treated concrete used for levee improvements.
