Description
This new aqueduct delivers water from the northern part of the country to Baku, the capital. The engineers used the natural topography to aid water flow; 11 inverted syphons (total area of 130,000 m2 / 1,400,000 square feet) keep the water moving where topography was not effective.
Products Used
All of the water syphons, including parts of the canal structure, were treated with PENETRON crystalline materials to optimize durability and impermeability of the concrete.
