Northwest Water Treatment Plant Expansion

Description

Designed and engineered by CDM Smith, this $110 million project installed an advanced low-pressure reverse osmosis water treatment system and expanded the previous treatment facility from 24 million gallons per day (MGD) to 48 MGD, with a low-pressure reverse osmosis treatment capacity of no less than 36 million MGD.


Products Used

3,500 yds3 of PENETRON ADMIX SB-treated concrete were used to waterproof all liquid containing structures of the facility. The admixture is completely non-toxic and NSF 61-certified for potable water applications.
