Description
Completed in time for the APEC Meeting held on Russky Island in 2012, the Russky Island Bridge connects the city on both shores of the Golden Horn Bay. The construction of the cable-stayed bridge, the longest of its type in the world, was completed on time despite rough weather and seismic conditions.
Products Used
The PENETRON System of crystalline products was applied to ensure the highest level of durability for the supporting concrete pillars. PENETRON ADMIX was used to waterproof the concrete pylons and the pre-stressed concrete slab decking of the bridge.
