Description

Surgut is one of the largest towns in Siberia, and is known for the world's most powerful power energy plants, which produce over 7,200 megawatts and supply most of the region with electricity.  The city is located in a continental subarctic climate with winters as long as eight months. Recently, the city built a new modern international class swimming pool facility that includes two pools 25 meters and 50 meters long. The new facility can host many more sport events and includes facilities for yoga classes, racquet ball courts and gymnastics space.


Products Used

PENETRON ADMIX was added to the concrete used for both pools during batching.  The decision to use the PENETRON system significantly reduced the time planned for waterproofing. Penetron Severstroy, the local Penetron dealer supplied the materials and provided consultations to the local contractor-SOK Company on how to use Penetron materials.
