Description
The new home of the Faculty of Science and Graduate School of Health features five above-ground and three below-ground floors with state-of-the-art wet, semi-wet, and dry laboratories with specialist research support areas. The Alumni Green was completely renewed and landscaped to provide an attractive green space and revitalize the center of the Broadway campus.
Products Used
To eliminate water penetration at the saturated construction site and protect the below-grade structures, the concrete (over 1,500 m3 / 1,960 cubic yards) for the below-ground and ground floor podium slabs and the roof slab structures was prepared by Holcim and treated with PENETRON ADMIX. PENESEAL FH sealer for concrete surfaces was used to strengthen floors in high traffic areas (over 1,000 m2 / 10,800 square feet).
