The first phase of construction for the Wansford Yard Lift Station included a mat foundation, influent box, screening channel dividers, wet well and baffle, subterranean walls, screen room floor, and beams.
Products Used
Originally, a competitive solution was specified to protect the concrete elements of the lift station exposed to the aggressive environment of the effluent. PENETRON ADMIX, a crystalline waterproofing admixture, and Penetron’s anti-microbial admixture were used to treat the mat foundation, influent box, screening channel dividers, wet well and baffle, subterranean walls, screen room floor, and beams – to provide permanent waterproofing protection and resistance to microbially-induced corrosion (MIC).
